Caretaker position
We have a permanent Caretaking Position – 37 hours a week with a split shift advertised.
Anyone interested can contact the school office for information and application forms.
The closing date is tight – 7th July, Interviews 13th July.
Statutory Tests in the Summer Term
This year schools are expected to continue with statutory testing. It is vital children are not out of school during these times unless too unwell to attend school. The following will be taking place:
- Year 1 Phonic Screening week beginning 6th June
- Year 2 Statutory Assessment Tests (SATS) during May
- Year 4 Multiplications Check to be completed in June (3-week period of time)
- Year 6 Statutory Assessment Tests (SATS):
- Monday 9th May – Grammar Punctuation and Spelling
- Tuesday 19th May – Reading
- Wednesday 11th – Maths papers 1&2
- Thursday 12th – Maths Paper 3
Easter Holiday
Don’t forget the school breaks up on Friday 8th April at 3.00pm and we return to school on Monday 25th April
Mini Reports
Mini Reports giving you an update on the children’s progress, their strengths and areas to work on will be coming home on Friday 1st April.
Meetings to discuss these with teachers are planned for the week beginning 4th April.
Foundation Stage Outdoor Area
The Foundation Stage outdoor area will finally get its long awaited make over in the Easter Holidays. It will be fit for purpose to support the children’s physical development, language enrichment and be a greener space to explore Nature and their environment.

Fantastic dressing up everyone, what a lot of effort went into dressing up to make us all laugh.
Together you raised lots of money for the work they do at home and abroad. We are still waiting for the final amount.
