Comic Relief
Comic Relief – 18th March
Fantastic dressing up everyone, what a lot of effort went into dressing up to make us all laugh.
Together you raised lots of money for the work they do at home and abroad. We are still waiting for the final amount.
Save the Children
Our final fundraising total to support refugees fleeing Ukraine is £169. Thank you for your generosity.
Ukraine Fundraising
We looked at the best ways to support the crisis in Ukraine and have decided to fundraise for those fleeing or displaced into nearby EU countries through Save the Children. See the attached document that details how they help and also how you can talk to your child about the situation if they ask questions or are worried. The BBC Newsround site is also a good place to look to explain the situation simply.Ukraine Fundraising
World Book Day
We have challenged the children to think of something they aspire to be as they grown up and leave school. If they are very clever to try to link this to a book character and dress up as that character or aspirational career path.
